Classes run Saturday through Thursday across morning, afternoon and evening blocks. Friday is reserved for rest and optional catch-up labs.

Getting In

Admission requirements

  1. Minimum age

    Applicants must be at least 14 years old on the day classes begin.

  2. Basic literacy

    Ability to read and write in Somali or English is required for coursework.

  3. Identification

    A copy of a national ID, student ID, or a letter from a local authority confirming identity.

  4. Completed registration form

    Submitted online or in person, along with the applicable course fee.

Assessment

Examination information & student assessment

How students are assessed

Each course combines short weekly practical checks with a final hands-on exam that mirrors real tasks — for example, formatting a full document in MS Word or building a working spreadsheet in Excel.

Certificate requirements

Students must attend at least 80% of classes and score 60% or higher on the final assessment to receive an SPC certificate for that course.

  • Arrive on time and bring required materials
  • Handle lab equipment with care
  • No food or drink near computer stations
  • Respectful conduct toward instructors and peers

Attendance policy

Students may miss up to two sessions per course without penalty. Missing more than 20% of total sessions may result in a delayed certificate or a requirement to repeat missed material.

Yes, within the first week of a term, subject to seat availability in the new course.

You may retake the final assessment once, free of charge, within two weeks of the original exam.
